The Xanadu exchange provides a multitude of services to Telkom clients and 3rd party clients. However client most notably in Meerhof are getting the short stick.
Very high ADSL latencies and poor line characteristics. Poor telephone quality and constant maintenance needed to be done.

Upgrade?
Recently I saw Telkom contractors working in the Telkom manholes. I got excited at thought perhaps now they would put the UMC in.
To nought. They were adding an additional copper cable for more lines. We can only hope for the best.
